The purpose of the MMBHA Award is to acknowledge those players that have been dedicated to Metro Minor Ball Hockey Association. We have two awards to be offered to two current grade twelve students who have been involved with MMBHA for at least 3 years. These individuals should have demonstrated good sportsmanship and character within the league and community.
Applicants must be planning to attend a post-secondary institution within 2 years of graduation.
- Two scholarships valued at $ 500 each are being offered by MMBHA.
- Candidates must complete the application in full as specified for the application to be considered.
- Attach a letter from any Metro Minor coach or Metro volunteer recommending the candidate’s qualities.
Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. The successful candidate(s) with be notified in June and payment of scholarship will be issued on proof of payment of tuition.
The scholarship evaluation committee will consist of MMBHA executive or designate. Every application will be assessed anonymously with the focus being on good sportsmanship, participation, and commitment to Metro and the community, but not necessarily athletic ability.
